When you want to be announced, we make it fun so that as your Wedding party enters, your guests are getting pumped up already. Then we get then to their feet as you make your grand entrance to YOUR party.
Time for the dance to start so we say some sweet things to let your crowd know that they area about to embark on a fun filled dance. We even add a song for the whole party as your Wedding Party Party.
For the Bouquet toss we play music and make it more fun by getting all involved.
Now for something different, for the Garter removal you can make some extra money by doing the $ to take it off, $ to keep it on. (please ask about this, it's so fun)
With the garter toss, we play music to get the guys out there and the surprise.
The dollar dance. Let's make it more fun by making it a challenge, or a contest, or even a honeymoon fund raiser. I also let your guests know that they may dance at anytime during the dollar dance but to leave plenty of room for you on the floor. Now that all the traditional stuff is over you are ready to kick it up but wait, now you are thirsty so I have to get your friends and family on the floor so I stick to some of the fun stuff but on the note that more of the older adults will get out on the floor and STAY longer. Got to keep the pace, there was a lot of slow songs to start the night so I keep the faster fun stuff going. Take the requests and play them. Might through some wacky stuff in later if it's ok with you. I will play the chicken dance and or hokey pokey but I like to wait for a while on those so that more people can get some drinks in them. If going over time is need then we talk about that. at the end of the night, I like to play the first song of the night with all that are there to join you on your dance floor to tie that wonderful bond together.
I do play at least one song for the Veterans and dedicate it to them as well. That happens at every show no matter what kind of show it is.
